A word from Dan
Webster; PAUSE creator and president of Authentic Leadership, Inc.
We are all
busy. I am, you are too. There’s nothing new about that. But
what happens when we live month after month in the fast lane without
pausing? I can tell you what happens…the pace of modern culture
seduces us...and that’s trouble.
It’s trouble because...
- relationships get fragmented
- perspective is lost concerning who
you are and what you love
- life is skimmed rather than experienced
- what gives you joy gets confused and pushed out of the picture
- the quiet voice of God becomes distant and silent
I hate it when
life gets like that. I’m guessing you do too.
How often do
you pause each year? A PAUSE is a brief break taken before doing
something important. The ‘something important’ is your
life…lived today,
tomorrow and this next year. Do you care how this next year goes?
I know you do.
How about taking a one-day intermission? Take
a step back from all the noise and activities of your life and
allow me to lead you in a PAUSE experience that will help you...
- sort out the key lessons and messages of the past year
- discern
what you did last year that gave you life
- assess what’s right,
wrong and confused right now and what to do about it
- set a God-inspired
direction for the coming year
How about it?
Would a day like that
make your life better...more focused?
My passion is leadership
development. Every day I work with leaders and see where their lives
needlessly break down because they never slow down. In this one-day
PAUSE experience I will lead you through a process that will enable
to you gain perspective on your life and walk out with fresh direction
for the next year.
The PAUSE experience includes…
- a guided
study from the life of King David teaching us how to PAUSE
- a creative
assessment that gets to the core learning and messages of last year
- times of quiet reflection allowing you to hear God speak
- personal
projects that get you clear on your contribution and character
-
opportunities to both share your story and hear the stories of other
leaders
- personal leadership development planning for the coming
year
What is it worth to be sure you are living
the life God intends for you to live? I invite you to join me for
a one-day PAUSE experience that will help you gain clarity for
your life and work.
I’m
interested. Give me the details.
